Amara is located in Hope Island, a peaceful waterfront suburb on the northern Gold Coast. The area is loved for its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful waterways, golf courses and proximity to Sanctuary Cove, Paradise Point and the Gold Coast’s major theme parks.

Local shopping centres, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants are within easy reach, making the property well suited to both short getaways and extended stays.

Getting around

Travelling by car is the easiest way to explore Hope Island and the wider Gold Coast. The property provides a private garage; however, the space is suitable for short vehicles only.

Taxis and rideshare services operate throughout the area. Guests planning to visit the beaches, theme parks, Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach should allow additional travel time during peak periods.

• Check-out by 10:00am
• Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional charge and can only be confirmed within three days of arrival
• Midday is the maximum early check-in or late check-out extension available
• If you require access before midday, we recommend booking the previous evening to guarantee an early arrival
• Detailed arrival and access instructions will be provided before your stay

To ensure an enjoyable stay for all guests and neighbouring residents, we kindly ask that the following house rules are respected.

• Quiet hours between 9pm and 9am
• Primary guest must be at least 24 years old
• Adult bookings may be subject to age and purpose-of-stay verification
• Cats are strictly not permitted
• Dogs may be considered with prior management approval
• A $300 pet fee applies per approved dog and is charged separately after approval
• Guests requesting to bring a dog must provide the breed, nature and a photo before approval
• Unapproved pets may incur additional charges
• No smoking or vaping at the property, including balconies or anywhere that may disturb neighbouring residents

For bookings outside of Airbnb:

• A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your dates
• The remaining balance is due 30 days before check-in
• For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, the full balance is due at the time of booking
• Bookings made through third-party platforms are subject to the payment terms and schedules of the relevant booking platform
